I've been putting together a Program for my Employee Awards Luncheon. It's going to have an Academy Awards theme and I need the following wording jazzed up to fit that. This is where you guys come in cause' you are so talented in this area.

K-here it is:

Stars and excitement are in the air as we celebrate the outstanding perforamnce of, and "committment to excellence", our employees have demonstrated in 2004. Producer of this year's event, Dr. Nicholas Pinhey, would like to thank the members of his cast and crew whose hard work, exceptional creativity, and keen sense of humor, provided the basis for this year's wonderful Employee Awards Luncheon.

I'm looking forward to seeing your talent.

Susan

Post a comment if you can go, if you can bring something, if we can seize your place of residence for a night (Mines almost always available but if you want to have iot at your place just say so =D)if you have an idea for a movie, anything really.

May I Suggest [13 Aug 2004|08:45pm]

"Last Man on Earth", a Creature Feature classic!

Summary: The Last Man on Earth is a great film to watch alone. Horror veteran Vincent Price plays Dr. Robert Morgan, a desperate and lonely man who's left alone in an apocalyptic world. A world ruled by zombie-like vampires as a result of a widespread plague. These vampire zombies are highly reminiscent of George Romero's walking dead in Night of the Living Dead. Price does a remarkable job interacting with practically nothing. He's alone throughout the majority of the film. His performance largely carries this low budgeter. When you watch the movie alone, you really feel where his character is coming from and a sense of hopelessness is established. The Last Man on Earth is really a thought-provoking, creepy classic. I recommend it be watched with Charlton Heston's The Omega Man to see another take on the same story.

Morgan, let me in ::thump thump on door::

We have it if you're interested.
